How the credit works

The report fee is credited in full against the letter for the same matter. If the verdict is no, or no verdict is possible, the fee is credited back to your account instead, to use on any later report or document. A closed dispute route, or a matter where every route was already closed, earns no credit: you saw the timeline result before you paid. Credits do not expire and are not refundable for cash.

R99, less the R9.99 you already paid for the report, leaves R89.01 due for the letter.

How the verdict is produced

The verdict is a yes or no statement of fact about the legal database: whether it holds precedent for a case on your facts. It is produced automatically, by comparing the documents you upload against the database. It is information about precedent, not legal advice: it does not tell you what to do, does not act on your behalf and does not predict the outcome of your matter. Nobody reviews, approves or issues the verdict.
